sewing Report

Before we get started with things accomplished at the sew-in thought I'd share some pictures of fabric I found at the second hand for my stash....

AHH! Christmas

4 misc.  cute cat and spring bunnies

And not for the sew-in
We had to have fall time snack while doing our FNS-i.  So this is what dd and I settled on....
Check list of things we can work on:
  • Patriotic quilt squares
  • flannel quilt squares
  • finish making tier skirt (partially worked on~  I cut out a tier, but with only 1 sewing machine I didn't get much sewed as DD was using the machine. So the skirt didn't get finished the tiers are cut now.)
  • work on journal cover for Grandma that was started (see pictures below.  Project completed start to finish.  1 Christmas gift down!
  • design cross-stitch that Grandma has requested (Since I couldn't I looked through cross-stitch books for a pattern and ideas so this one was partially accomplished too)
  • make cross-stitch to add to Grandma's already made arrangement.
