http://www.pumpupyourbook.com/2016/06/19/pump-up-your-book-presents-i-have-faith-virtual-book-publicity-tour/

About the Book:

Title: I Have Faith
Author: Davin Whitehurst
Publisher: Childlike Faith Publishing
Pages: 26
Genre:  Children
Are you ready to get your child excited about faith? “I Have Faith” puts your child right in the footsteps of Danny as he begins to learn about faith. Danny and his older brother have been wanting a dog, but both know their parents don’t think they are ready for a dog. When Danny’s mom begins teaching him what the bible says about faith, he puts his faith into action. After praying and releasing his faith for a dog, doubt and even his best friend keep telling him that he will never get a dog. Over time Danny never loses his faith in the promises of God and finds that God is faithful and that faith works. Come along on this journey that is a real life event that took place in the author’s life as a child.
This book has great illustrations that support a wonderful story about finding faith in God. As you are teaching your child about principals in the bible; this book will help you teach faith. What a wonderful experience it is when we can see our children begin to develop their faith in God, and grow from a tiny mustard seed to a firmly planted tree. The back of the book has a parent/child discussion which will help children gain understanding in faith and some scriptures that Danny’s mom used to get him excited about faith.

Book Excerpt:
“Hi! My name is Danny.” This is how I learned to trust God and believe His word.
It’s called faith, and you have faith too.

I Have Faith is an excellent book to help show children what it takes to have faith.  It is believing but also acting on that belief.  There are discussion questions at the end of the book to help parents take the next step in teaching what faith is; as well as a page with scripture verses to help build faith.  I will put this book in my classroom library to allow my students to read it also.

About the Author

Davin Whitehurst lives in the beautiful high desert of Southern Arizona with his wife and son. He is releasing his first book "I have Faith" in May of 2016 but has so many more that are in the making. The motivation behind the books are deeply rooted from in his own past. He is a living testimony of Proverbs 22:6. Growing up in Southwest Kansas and in a Christian household, he was trained up in the way he should go. By the time he became a teenager, Davin turned away from God and left church. Fast forward into his late twenties and God brought him back with a powerful calling. He and his family have been faithfully serving at Seed of Abraham Christian Center International for over seven years now. Proof that when we teach our children the way they should go. When they get older, they know where to turn and will not depart from God. Davin wants each book written to be a resource that parents have to help train their children in the way they should go. He writes stories in a simple way that will be fun and practical for every child. He wants children to get excited about faith and the things of God.

His latest release is the children’s book, I Have Faith.

I Can Be Kind by Amie Carlson

Giveaway with this post read to the end to find out how to enter.

https://www.tyndale.com/p/i-can-be-kind/9781496415806

Scripture teaches us to love our neighbors by treating them with kindness and respect. One aspect of kindness includes manners. Parents are looking for fun, creative ways to teach their children polite behavior in a society where rudeness is often the status quo. We believe I Can Be Kind is a great resource for parents, grandparents, and Sunday school teachers as they seek to develop these behaviors in their children.

When I agreed to review this book,  I didn't realize it was a flip-flap book.  I was pleasantly surprised and delighted upon receiving the book.  Young children love flip books and this one is bound to delight them.  However, the pages are thin so wouldn't take much to rip the pages.  The message on each page is excellent and very well presented.  A Bible verse on every page to go along with the manner presented.  Manners are a good thing to teach young children and the Bible is the best book to use.  The illustrations are big, bright, and bold.  My copy will go in the classroom library for sure.

I have a copy of this book to giveaway to one of my readers.  Please leave a comment telling me who you'd share this book with.  Be sure to leave a way of contact.  I'll leave this giveaway open until Sat. July 30th.  Please open to US residents only thanks.

New book, but same old song and message.  However, that doesn't make the message any less important.  It is still a beautiful message.  A message that all children need to be taught.  God has made all things.  My favorite part.  They quote scripture from the KJV.  This book will go into my classroom library for sure.

I found a few versions of this song on utube...
I love Hayley's voice.  The first minute is just a chit chat with the MC, but she does a lovely job singing this song.

This utube has beautiful pictures to watch as you listen to the song.

The Pirate and the Firefly by Tara McClary Reeeves & Amanda Jenkins

http://www.christianbook.com/pirate-firefly-boy-bug-lesson-wisdom/amanda-jenkins/9781433681202/pd/681200?event=CBCER1

About “The Pirate and the Firefly”
Oliver loves pretending to be a pirate, but learns that blindly following others doesn't leave him with a good feeling inside.

In this Scripture adventure, kids join Oliver as he rights the wrongs done by his so-called Pirate friends. Through it all, Captain Oliver learns that following God's way is the true way to wisdom!

Based on Scripture from Psalm 1, "The Pirate and the Firefly" aims to address the felt needs of children ages 4 to 8 including courage, confidence, friendship and more with biblical truths about God.

This is a beautiful book that teaches character values in more ways than one.  I love that it uses scripture to address doing what it right vs making wrong choices.    Teaching children to stand up for what is right.  This book will definitely find it's way into my classroom library this fall.   The book even has a page for parents to connect and use as a springboard with questions. The illustrations are  colorful and eye appealing as well.
You can take a look inside this lovely book here.

You Can be a Cool Kind Kid Picture Book, first in a series of 5, begins with Tanner Wants to be COOL. Raising a Cool Kind Kid is written from a poem with colorful illustrations and tips for being a Cool Kind Kid for kids, and bullying prevention tips for parents or teachers to share. The Cool Kind Kid Handbook, Book 1, Be a Cool Kind Kid, is the first of 5, providing parents or teachers with many fun activities. These three books, along with the first of 3 Cool Kind Kid Flash and Game Cards, the award-winning Cool Kind Kid CD, wrist bands, and other products are also available in the first of 5 Cool Kind Kid Bullying Prevention Parent/Child Resource Kit [ages 4-9].
Social Skills that Break the Cycle of Bullying by Redefining “Cool”™

As a teacher,  I was excited to hear about this Cool Kid series.  Once I got the review copies I totally loved the series.  It really is an excellent tool.  A resource every teacher should have available to them.  This series has wonderful ideas to use in a classroom meeting.  The picture book is in graphic form and I found that kids are very apt to grab that type of book over one with lots of words on the page.  The CD was not included in my review set; however, I did go online and listen to the sample clips that are on the web site.

Redefining "Cool"™

Kids learn that they can be both cool and kind, without bullying. “Cool” is treating others with kindness and respect.

“Kind is Cool” and “Cool is Kind”™

The kind person is the cool person.
You can’t be truly cool if you are unkind.
Learn social skills to prevent bullying.

It’s “Cool” to live The Golden Rule™

“Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
Too many follow a different rule, "Treat others the way they
treat you." Kids who bully often follow this rule.

The “Kind” kid is the “Cool” kid, not the bully™

Bullying is the ultimate “uncool.” Social skills are the missing link
in bullying prevention.
