Quilted by Christmas is a beautiful book to curl up by the fire and just get lost in.  Bailey has you just turning the pages and forgetting all about how long you've been reading.  It's a wonderful romance with an awesome theme of second chances.  Quilted by Christmas is another enjoyable book in the Quilts of Love series.  I highly recommend this book as well as all the others in this series.  Go ahead take the challenge read Quilted by Christmas by Christmas and you'll be hooked and wanting to read more Quilts of Love books.

But when Tara makes a wish that is dearest to her heart, T’s ordinary afternoon leads to an hour of magic that takes her on a journey of discovery and a ride she’ll never forget. This gentle story of a family across the generations weaves enough magic and whimsy to interest children. It also subtly raises the real-life issue of aging. “Sweet T” entertains while opening the door for children to discuss, in an age-appropriate way, the illness of a beloved family member.

This is a nice adventure story with a twist of fantasy as Tara's scooter attempts to take her back to wonderful times with her family.  I would recommend it for probably 3-5 graders.  A beautiful story to help build new readers confidence in chapter books.  It isn't a long story with long chapters.  It is short and sweet and will take you on a delightful fun adventure.  I definitely enjoyed the imagination ride into Tara's memory.  Couldn't ask for a more delightful winter time read.

Book Review Blitz: Mother’s Love Can Conquer Any Fear!

This book may be considered fiction or a tale, but it has a powerful punch behind the tale.  Theme:  just as the cover says...mother's love and conquering fear.  The message couldn't have been told better.  A picture book that young children will love as well and those beginning to read.  Funny, action filled with a beautiful message.

The First Christmas Ever is a beautiful retelling of the birth of Christ.  The story as well as the illustrations are beautifully done.  What a wonderful way to kick off this holiday season than reading together the true meaning of Christmas.  Teaching your young ones what Christmas is really all about.  The First Christmas Ever would help make it possible.  A nice addition to a lifetime of traditions:  Reading the Christmas story.  The book is easy enough for beginning readers to read as well.  It's a story that will captivate...young and old alike.  This book will be added to our church library.

Alan R. Noble is a born-again Christian, schooled in the Word since childhood. He was fortunate to sit under capable preaching and teaching throughout his life.
