"Behold, I am vile."-Job 40:4

    One cheering word, poor lost sinner, for thee! You think you must not come to God because YOU are vile. Now, there is not a saint living on earth but has been made to feel that he is vile. If Job, and Isaiah, and Paul were all obliged to say "I am vile," oh, poor sinner, wilt thou be ashamed to join in the same confession? If divine grace does not eradicate all sin from the believer, how dost thou hope to do it thyself? and if God loves His people while they are yet vile, dost thou think thy vileness will prevent His loving thee? Believe on Jesus, thou outcast of the world's society! Jesus calls thee, and such as thou art.

    "Not the righteous, not the righteous;
    Sinners, Jesus came to call."

    Even now say, "Thou hast died for sinners; I am a sinner, Lord Jesus, sprinkle Thy blood on me"; if thou wilt confess thy sin thou shalt find pardon. If, now, with all thy heart, thou wilt say, "I am vile, wash me," thou shalt be washed now. If the Holy Spirit shall enable thee from thy heart to cry

    Just as I am, without one plea
    But that Thy blood was shed for me,
    And that thou bidd'st me come to Thee,
    O Lamb of God, I come!"

    thou shalt rise from reading this morning's portion with all thy sins pardoned; and though thou didst wake this morning with every sin that man hath ever committed on thy head, thou shalt rest to-night accepted in the Beloved; though once degraded with the rags of sin, thou shalt be adorned with a robe of righteousness, and appear white as the angels are. For "now," mark it, "Now is the accepted time." If thou "believest on Him who justifieth the ungodly thou art saved." Oh! may the Holy Spirit give thee saving faith in Him who receives the vilest.

This is Our Time with giveaway

Release Date April 16- tomorrow with giveaway

This movie couldn't come out at a better time...only a month from graduation day for many, college and High School seniors.  Though the movie is presented around college graduation I think High School seniors could benefit from the message just the same.  I watched the movie with my senior daughter and I'm passing it on to my college daughter who will graduate in 2014.  The message is wonderful and inspiring:  You are where God wants you at this present time.  Graduates need encouragement as they seek to do what they feel God is calling them to do or as they sort out what direction they feel the Lord leading.  It's a hard decision and some have an easier time finding their place in life that others as is presented in this movie.  Excellent movie highly recommend High Schoolers and college bound students alike to watch the movie.  Very family approved, however, younger ones may not be as thrilled with the message as it is geared toward Doing what God calls you to do upon graduation.

About This Is Our Time
The movie tells the interwoven stories of Luke (T.J. Dalrymple) and Alé (Erin Bethea), who marry right after school and move to India to serve as missionaries for Embrace A Village, a ministry that cares for those afflicted with leprosy and their families; aspiring financier Catherine (Kate Cobb), who joins a prestigious financial institution determined to make an impact on corporate America; Ryder (Matthew Florida), who lands an impressive job in social media and can’t wait to use the powerful medium for a greater good; and Ethan (Shawn-Caulin Young,) seemingly the odd man out, who struggles to find his God-given-purpose and feels sidelined by God.
“What they all come to learn is that it never really was their time,” Arnold said. “It always was, always is, God’s time.”

  5. A friend of mine was telling me the other day about a movie that was on her television. It turned out it was on Cinemax. She didn't even know they subscribed. She thought maybe it was a free weekend. She was a bit amazed. We need more inspirational, family movies.

    I was sadden the other day when my son told me that he has trouble believing in God. His scientific brain gets in the way. I understand some of that, being very logically thinking. I love my Lord and Savior and thought my son is saved.
