funfetti cookies

My daughter makes these cookies the recipe was on the side of the cake mix box. They are so soft and oh so yummy! Suggest making double or triple batch it doesn't make many and if you have cookie monsters in your house they won't last long. The recipe says, "makes 3 dozen", but we do good to get 2 dozen. Maybe we make ours larger than the recipe says. We have a cookie scoop that makes the dough into balls so it is pretty much the same size cookies. Now on to the recipe.

Funfetti Cookies

Ingredients:
1 (18.9 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury Moist supreme funfetti cake mix
1/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1/2 (15.6 oz.) can Pillsbury creamy supreme funfetti vanilla frosting

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, combine cake mix, oil and eggs; stir with spoon until thoroughly moistened. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. With bottom of glass dipped in flour, flatten to 1/4 inch thickness.

2. Bake 375 for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.

3. Spread frosting over cookies. Immediately sprinkle each cookie with candy bits from frosting package. Let frosting set before storing. Store in tightly covered container.

Makes: 3 dozen cookies.

(Note: we make our own powdered sugar frosting and use sprinkles)
