My Happy Pumpkin is a cute little fall book for preschool age and beginner readers. The book is a hard chunky shaped cardboard just right for little hands to hold. The pictures are bright, bold and colorful; very beautifully illustrated. Easy rhyming words for beginner readers to read as well. I have seen this pumpkin story in adult form. My Happy Pumpkin is written with the same message only in little tyke terms. A wonderful tool to teach youngsters how to let God's love shine through. What I liked is there was no mention of Halloween in the book.
