The Sacred Thread

The Sacred Thread is a cinematic documentary series exploring the Lord’s Prayer through the historical, cultural, geographical, and literary world in which Jesus first spoke it. Hosted by Brad Gray and featuring insights from scholars including N.T. Wright, the series takes viewers across biblical landscapes to uncover the deeper meaning and context behind one of the most well-known prayers in Scripture.

Through cinematic storytelling and accessible scholarship, the series invites audiences to see Scripture with fresh eyes and rediscover the richness, depth, and relevance of the Biblical text.

The Sacred Thread is now available to stream on Angel.

I'm looking forward to this documentary series. This sounds very interesting.

He Calls me Daughter with Amazon $10 giveaway

“If your relationship with your dad left wounds,

this film is for you.”

About the Film
He Calls Me Daughter is a deeply personal and emotionally powerful film that explores what it
means to carry a father wound and what it takes to heal from it.

Through raw storytelling and spiritual insight, the film reveals how unmet needs from an earthly
father can shape identity, relationships, and self-worth. But it also offers a path forward. One
rooted in the love of a Heavenly Father who restores, redeems, and redefines what it means to
be a daughter.

Angel provides a home for stories that go beyond entertainment and into transformation.
He Calls Me Daughter is the kind of film that resonates deeply but is often overlooked by
traditional platforms. Angel ensures stories like this are seen, shared, and experienced by the
people who need them most.

After watching this movie, myself I would put this movie in the documentary category. Forgiveness is not easy and it comes through God. It is a process made possible through a relationship with God, who
enables true release and restoration. Even when earthly fathers fail, God’s love remains constant, personal, and healing. He steps into the gaps left behind and restores what was missing. Fathers play a critical role in shaping their daughters’ sense of worth and security. This film is both a wake-up call and an invitation to show up, love deeply, and lead well. This is not just a story about pain. It is a story about healing, forgiveness, and identity. Watch He Calls Me Daughter now on Angel and experience a story of healing, identity, and restoration.

Join the Angel Guild to support more stories that bring hope, healing, and truth

to the screen.

The Blobs - Vol. 2: Attack of the Glitchies by: Justin Stuart with Amazon giveaway

The Blobs: Volume Two

releases April 7th everywhere books are sold!

The Blobs: Volume 2: Attack of the Glitchies is the second book in The Blobs, a graphic
novel series that blends sci-fi adventure, humor, and high-energy action for readers
ages 8-12

Synopsis:

Fans of Dog Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Captain Underpants will love this hilarious, high-stakes adventure about friendship, courage, and what it takes to protect the place you call home.

The Blobs are back—bigger, braver, and in more danger than ever. Cadetski and his crew of misfit Blobs finally make it to their new home, Planet Splotch, only to realize they’ve accidentally stolen the most powerful artifacts in the galaxy: the Doomsicles. Now, they’re on the radar of every villain in the galaxy, especially King Neptune: a tyrant with plans for domination who wants the doomsicles back … and isn’t asking nicely. With their new world on the brink of invasion, Cadetski and the gang must dive into the planet’s deepest secrets, face impossible odds, and discover that real courage isn’t about size or strength, it’s about sacrifice. And when one Blob is believed to be a galactic “Chosen One,” things go from bad… to bonkers. Packed with laugh-out-loud chaos, surprising heart, and clean comedy, The Blobs: Attack of the Glitchies cranks the adventure to the max.

The Blobs: Volume 2: Attack of the Glitchies is the second book in The Blobs. It is a graphic
novel series that blends sci-fi adventure, humor, and high-energy action for readers ages 8-12. The Blobs are back—and this time, the galaxy’s survival depends on a goofy crew of outcasts, a stolen stash of ultra-powerful space gems, and one very unexpected hero learning what it means to do the right thing. To me this was a different kind of graphic novel/comic book then what I thought graphic novels were. I've never been a big fan of graphic novels/comic book for the fact that there is generally very few words on a page the story is told in the illustrations. However, this one stole my heart and changed my thinking of graphic novels. It is very well done and I loved the illustrations. The characters were out-of-this world. I'm going to go back and read the first one just because I loved this one so well.

Buy tickets today to see Still Hope in theaters starting February 5th!

When you purchase a ticket to Still Hope, you help shine
a light on the fight against trafficking and amplify the hope this film was created to
share!

A portion of ticket proceeds will go towards organizations that care for victims of trafficking.

Synopsis:

Hope, a teenager from a tight-knit community, finds herself in danger when the person she believes to be a new friend proves unsafe. Taken from all she knows, Hope is forced into sex trafficking and stripped of her identity. After finding freedom from her captors, Hope discovers that survival is only the first step. Inspired by true stories, Hope’s journey is a powerful illustration of the courage it takes to walk the complex path of recovery.

Still Hope is a movie where awareness about human trafficking meets compassion and recovery begins. Freedom is just the beginning. This is a Christian film. However, it is a very deep subject and may not be appropriate for young children. There are drug and alcohol scenes, no sex scenes, however, it shows them at the door and being accepted in as well as evidence of the abuse that the girls get. A very good sound board for those that want to see a glimpse of what is involved in human trafficking. It is a story of hope, strength, bravery, faith, and forgiveness.

Soul Stirrings: Inspirational Message with God On Your Side is available at Amazon.

I have to say I was very leery to take on this book for review. But I have totally been enjoying Anita Hacklye Lambert's book Soul Stirrings: Inspirational Message with God on Your Side. The devotionals in this book are geared toward the Christian seeking to find God's will and then act upon your findings with intention. I have my book all marked up, highlighted with personal notes as well.

My favorite chapter so far has been chapter 9: Consistent Intentions: Living with Purpose and Determination. Proverbs 4:26 "Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established." Aligning our intentions with God's will, seeking His guidance and committing to living as His Word commands us to.

I also loved the lay out of each chapter. It is easy to read, each paragraph has a space between the previous paragraph. The author doesn't use big words that I would have to look up and find out what she meant by that. I can tell she writes from her heart.

I love, love, love the fact that Lambert uses the KJV Bible to quote her scriptures. With other devotionals, I have to have my Bible on hand and look up the scriptures because I want to see what the KJV says, that is my chosen Bible version. It isn't easy to find a devotional that uses the KJV. This was the main reason for me being leery to review this book. However, I'm so glad I did accept the review spot. Lambert backs her thoughts up with much scripture which is also a big plus. It isn't just what she thinks, but what God says in His Word. This book has gone above my expectations for stirring my soul.  This is definitely a devotional that will be added to my library shelf and I just might have to check into the other two books.

Book Excerpt

Have you ever stood in the silence of your soul, staring into the abyss of unanswered questions? Have you ever whispered into the darkness, Why, Lord? —only to be met with silence? Life often presents us with trials that shake our foundation, moments that leave us bewildered and searching for meaning. We grapple with the weight of adversity, the sting of suffering, and the seemingly relentless storm clouds that overshadow our joy.

The human heart longs for understanding. It seeks reasons, explanations, and clarity. Yet, there are moments in life when the answers we crave remain just beyond our grasp. In these moments, we are left with a choice: Will we succumb to the gnawing doubts that seek to unravel our faith, or will we surrender to the wisdom of the Almighty, trusting that His unseen hand is guiding us through even the darkest valleys?

Faith calls us to trust in a God whose perspective far exceeds our own. Instead of demanding explanations, we are invited to rest in the assurance that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). In the face of trials, our posture should be one of surrender—choosing trust over comprehension, faith over fear, and confidence in divine wisdom over reliance on our own limited understanding.

When we wonder why, we do not necessarily require answers but rather an unwavering faith in the divine wisdom that guides our journey. We are prompted to shift our focus from pursuing answers to pursuing wisdom. Unlike mere answers, wisdom offers us greater insight into life's complexities. It equips us to navigate the storms with grace and resilience, aware that even within the darkest nights, a glimmer of light beckons us homeward.
