A tropical storm threatens Gull Island just as the sea turtle nest is ready to hatch. T must abandon the nest and prepare for bad weather.
This is a sweet quick read for children starting to read chapter books. The teacher in me loved the back add ins: comprehension questions, discussion questions, and information on turtles hatching. I loved the bully aspect and how there was an up-stander in the book. This book is excellent for many discussions.
